Well, I actually did some drawing this morning!
I actually sat at my drawing table for the first time this year and did some drawing!
Yes, I did my cleaning (which is not completely finished-- d'oh!) some time ago (months ago) and I still have to be a contortionist to get into my room and sit at the damn drawing table!
But, I DID sit there and I DID draw.

And man, was it tedious as hell!

It took me a little while to get going, what with negotiating my physical environment around me so that I didn't disturb precariously perched, uh, I mean, stored and fastidiously organized items in my room (stacks of books and clothes), and trying to find my drawing tools and utensils.
I also moved on to some inking, which has been years, it seems, since I last tried to do. Even when I did ink "regularly," my "technique" and abilities were still extremely basic and, surprise, they still are! Perhaps even basic-er!

One bottle of ink was sitting around so long it got watery.
But, luckily I had another bottle, and a different brand, lying around and that seemed okay.

But, now I have to take a shower and go to the dentist!
So, I didn't make my deadline, but I definitely made some progress.
Unfortunately, I have to work tonight, so even if I do some more artwork today, I doubt I'll have enough time to finish it before I have to rest for tonight's 12 hour night shift.
So, I'm hoping I'll finish the inking by tomorrow.
I plan to post the inked drawing and then do a color version, which should be interesting, since I haven't done THAT in a while. I'm figuring to use color pencils and some markers.

Crap!
I gotta go!
